This is to promote my music and tell people what I'm doing, on another platform than Facebook, because apparently it's become cool to be anti-Facebook? I thought of promoting myself on Google+, but then I thought that I'll just talk to the two people using it some other time.
Where was I? Oh, right, my music.
I'm currently attending LIPA in Liverpool (Loverpool, LiverLOL, whatever works for you), and I am loving it. Not much time for sleeping in and relaxing, but I'll do that when I'm 62 (can't wait). We're kept busy with songwriting, business projects, band rehearsals, singing lessons, music theory and sound recording.
When it comes to my sound (yes, I'm using the phrase "the sound" just like Ross: Ross' Sound), it's inspired by indie, pop and folk to some extent. I love bands such as Band of Horses, Bon Iver, Kings of Leon, Mumford and Sons, Fleet Foxes and Coldplay, and artists like Ellie Goulding, Christel Alsos and Maria Mena.
The songs I write are usually quite calm, with guitar plucking and my voice. And if I have the chance of putting in some harmonies, I most likely will take it. (I've been a choir girl...)
I haven't recorded anything serious yet, but soon! I think.
